I own Taliban [PML-N and ANP planning a wide scale Bloodshed in Karachi]

“PML-N had opposed General Musharraf’s policies, and if the Taliban are also fighting for the same cause, then they should not carry out acts of terror in Punjab”. Shahbaz Shareef expressed surprise that why the common stance of his party and the militants had failed to stop the Taliban from carrying out terrorist attacks in Punjab Province. This was the plea made by chief minister of second most Taleban affected province of Pakistan on which no apology or clarification has been made as yet. Shahbaz Shareef’s comments were greeted with surprise and shock by the people, including analysts and commentators.
Since the creation of Brothers’ league they have off and on been accused of their latent relationship with The Taleban and Al Qaeda, be it Nawaz Shareef’s meeting with Osama bin Laden or PML N’s law minister Rana Sana ullah’s contacts with banned sectarian organization Sipah e Sahaba all clues strengthen Taleban network with the backing of league in cultural hub of Pakistan. People of Punjab specially Lahore have witnessed worst kind of terrorism lately that claimed hundreds of lives, interestingly entire responsibility of those brutal terrorist attacks has owned by Tehreek e Taleban Pakistan whom Chief Minister Punjab have labeled alike.
Shahbaz Shareef never realized the fact that extremism is a national threat to Pakistan, his recent ”act of patriotism” rise many questions on his credibility and his love for Pakistan, In my opinion a common Pakistani regardless of how corrupt he is would never ask for mercy from those miscreants who have decided to blow up his country nor he would ever be so selfish to request Pakistan’s enemies to spare his home only and destroy rest of the country but in Pakistan such request was made by supposedly Big Brother who is already accused of maintaining hegemony in Pakistan.
Recent wave of terrorist attacks in Lahore could turn into an opportunity for PML N if the ruling party sincerely decided to wage war on Taleban but the brave son of the soil preferred owning terrorists by matching his party’s frequency with Taleban, despite countrywide protests Shehbaz Shareef never bothered to undo his ills and kept blaming Musharraf for initiating the war. At one side N league supported military operation on Taleban in assembly and on the other hand they hesitate condemning Taleban, this particular situation is leading Punjab into a chaotic situation, a moderate Punjabi is against any kind of religious terrorism but ruling party of the very province not only fanning religious extremism by supporting banned outfits but keeping a sympathy for them as well.
Nobody knows what agenda the league is currently following but their double crossing is making life of a common Punjabi unsecure as Taleban are treated as state guests in Punjab and even if moderate Punjabis voice their opinion against religious fanatics, provincial government would turn a blind eye towards them which would lead province towards more destruction and sectarian killings as we witnessed in Lahore and Gojra respectively.
As a reaction NWFP legislator Nighat Orakzai offered her “dupatta” to Shahbaz, saying he should wear it and hide in the Chief Minister’s residence. “The ‘Pathan’ women are prepared to come and defend him,” Such an insult to Shehbaz Shareef should open his eyes in larger interest of Punjab.
Now Shahbaz Sharif’s statement has become a test for a common Punjabi, voting the pro Taleban party that has harmed its own people would further drag Punjab into hell fire. It’s high time for PML N supporters and sympathizers to reconsider their association with “Shareefs” and understand the fact that electing pro terrorists would harm no oneelse but Punjab.

Now Punjab and Sind have started to fight each other. Soon there will be full-blown civil war in Pakistan. I think we are nearing the end of Pakistan as a one nation.
