@Ahmad R Shahid
         How can the present government even think of bringing musharraf back and trying him for all the charges against him when the top leadership of this government and P.P.P were given a clear chit by musharraf in form of N.R.O.
They wouldnt try him at all, they will keep on making lame excuses like,, "if the whole parliament passes a unanimous resolution in favour of trying former dictator then we will do that"" ,,, that is a lame excuse, because we know if most of p.p.p parliamentarians would want to try mushrraf for his crimes, but their leadership along with m.q.m will defend musharraf in parliament and out of it too.

According to reports the UN Commission investigating the murder of Benazir Bhutto has finally questioned Musharraf. I hope the sitting government would also question him on his alleged crimes, including overthrowing the constitutionally-elected government, imposing the emergency, sacking and ridiculing the judges of the Supreme Court, the murder of Akbar Bugti, killing of people in the Jamia Hafsa operation, the failed Kargil operation and making Pakistanis 'missing'.

The government should use its influence to bring Musharraf back and try him. If civilian politicians can be castigated daily for real or perceived crimes and punished by death (Z A Bhutto) or put behind bars (Z A Bhutto, Asif Zardari, Nawaz Sharif etc.), then why not the generals who have ruled (or rather misruled) the country and brought it to its current situation?

Come back, Musharraf

This is in relation to the news item saying that Musharraf is staging a comeback and will launch a new party. I, like all his supporters, welcome him back and want him to start his political activities in Pakistan. During my life in Pakistan, I have not seen any person more sincere and loyal to the country than him. He always made decisions keeping in view the national interest. His patriotism is beyond doubt. His all unpopular decisions are now proving right and even the present government is following them.

His era will be remembered as the era of development in which the country made unprecedented achievements in the field of banking, telecommunications, infrastructure development, the media, higher education, mega projects like Gwadar port, motorways and foreign investment. I assure him of my full support upon his return.
