A brave pakistani student refused to take award from Sulman taseer because he and his corrupt boss Zardari are American Agents. and his protest against the new Kerry luger bill.

I am one of majority of Pakistanis who don’t like Salman Taseer. But think for a moment, in each convocation there must be few students who don’t like the person awarding their degree. So do we expect this kind of nonsense in every convocation?
It was first done against American ambassador and most of the people appreciate. The reason was obvious. Americans are not amongst us. We have right to protest against them. But doing same thing against Pakistanis?
Believe that student was not honest to his own cause and his institution. If he was honest then he can excuse participating in convocation. As everybody knows that taking part in convocation is not mandatory.
Convocation is a very prestigious and monumental event in a student’s life. If these kind of short sighted people keep doing this kind of activities, we might deprived from having convocations in our country. As you know most of governmental universities already don’t arrange convocation. Please leave some beautiful, cherish and memorable moments in my hard working and well deserved students’ lives.
And stop grabbing media attention by cheap tricks.

Unfortunately, it is so obvious that this student lacks common etiquette.
Indeed, rejecting the degree is only an act of creating a media frenzy- he could have easily chosen not to participate. The nature of your expression should at least be in tandem with what you are going against – graduation is an event to commemorate your years of training, knowledge and achievement, and Taseer is a classic example of an individual supporting Pakistani solidarity through education, hard work, initiative and self-belief. What views of his does this student not agree with? His view to treasure literature and read? His prudent liberalism for a more enlightened Pakistan? His aspirations to cultivate a dedicated youth of the future?
Get your facts right for future reference, and for the rest of you, don’t let this students actions contribute more to your amusement than your knowledge!
