ATTENTION PRODUCERS OF CURRENTS ISSUES.

In civilized world the Electronic/Print Media known as power and voice of people. We are fortunate that since last couple of years in Pakistan they are playing vital role in making positive change in society by focusing on burning issues of peoples and pave ways for its solution. The elected representative of Karachi and Sindh have become blind, deaf and damp and enjoying Governmental powers for their own gain.

But people of Karachi are very astonished to note that nowadays Media has also become blind, deaf and damp like Government agencies and kept silent and put crossed finger on real issues of common people created by the present Government by depriving them by putting ban on pillion riding on one pretext or the other.

In fact Karachi city is already facing acute shortage of public transport facility. More than 3 million people are using two wheelers motorbikes who belongs to lower or lower middle class. Due to ban on pillion riding pressure of 3 million people has been shifted to public transport. Consequently common men who are already grinding with multiple stresses facing further burden of unnecessary cost of transportation and hardship as well.

If Government does not succeed to control law and order situation it does not mean that it take revenge from its own people by imposing ban on their legitimate right. People have lost the hope from this Government for any relief.

All eyes of masses are stuck towards the role of media in this regard but all are unable to understand why Media is not arranging talk shows and other programs to highlight this burning issue. Various questions arising in the mind of the people of this city like ;-

• Whether Media has been sold in the hands of Transport Mafia.

• Who prevent Media people to feel pain of middle and lower middle class people.

• Why they focus on talk shows and other programs on silly issue of rape, karokari etc., to make western world happy and why avoid this real problem of more than 3 million common people who suffers daily an unbearable agony since last 6 months.

Please for God Sake don’t break their hope. You people are only hope for them. It is the matter of more than 3 million deprived people’s problem and being real a representative of masses it is an ethical and moral responsibilities on shoulder Media of people to compel this deaf and damp Government to realize their duties and responsibilities to give relief to the nation not hardship. Arrange programs to highlight this genuine issue of masses on your channel / Newspaper so that ban on pillion riding can be lifted and henceforth no government dare to take this harsh step for its nation.

Thar coal Reserves

If All The Oil Reserves of Saudia Arab & Iran Put Together
These Are Approximately 375 Billion Barrels,
But
A Single Thar Coal Reserve Of Sindh is about 850 Trillion Cubic Feet,
Which is More Than Oil Reserves Of Saudia & Iran.

These reserves estimated at 850 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of gas, about 30 times higher than Pakistan’s proven gas reserves of 28 TCF.

Dr Murtaza Mughal president of Pakistan Economy Watch in a statement said that these reserves of coal worth USD 25 trillion can not only cater the electricity requirements of the country for next 100 years but also save almost four billion dollars in staggering oil import bill.

Just 2% usage of Thar Coal Can Produce 20,000 Mega Watts of Electricity for next 40Years ,without any single Second of Load Shedding.
and if the whole reserves are utilized, then it could easily be imagined how much energy could be generated.

The coal power generation would cost Pakistan PKR 5.67 per unit while power generated by Independent Power Projects cost PKR 9.27.

It Requires Just Initial 420 Billion Rupees Initial Investment,
Whereas Pakistan Receives annually 1220 Billion from Tax Only.

Chinese and other companies had not only carried out surveys and feasibilities of this project but also offered 100 percent investment in last 7 to 8 years but the “Petroleum Gang” always discouraged them in a very systematic way.

But Petroleum lobby is very strong in Pakistan and they are against any other means of power generation except for the imported oil. This lobby is major beneficiary of the increasing oil bill that is estimated above 15 billion dollar this year. Even GOV. is planning to Sell all these reserve to a company on a very low price. (baqi maal jaeb mey , as usual).
